Why do we do it? In short we do this because when we first started our business in 2005 we found that there was a difference between the couples we did an engagement session with and those we did not. When we did an engagement session with a couple, the wedding day -photographically- was all the better! We knew the couples, we had worked with them professionally, we knew what they liked the most from the engagement session (from style to angles and what expressions they most cherished, etc.) and the couples learned to relax with us behind the camera pointed at them! (Most couples have never worked with professional photographers so just getting over the “unknown” of it before the “big day” is a blessing!) Also, couples who had their engagement session with us had 100% confidence in us and the images we were producing every time we set up a shot or walked away to just document! So we decided we would ALWAYS offer a complimentary engagement session to every couple! And it has truly been one of the best decisions we have ever made for our business -and our couples!
