Jesse & Nedie had their Preview Reception today; so as promised I am posting entry #2. Jesse & Nedie exchanged vows on May 9, 2009 at St. Francis of Assisi, Catholic Church in Downtown Bakersfield. It was a beautiful ceremony with a lot of fun and personal touches.
At today’s Preview Reception, we all had a fun time and Alex and I were thrilled that everyone loved the photos so much! As wedding photographers, one of the best things is knowing that our photographic art celebrates and honors the love and joy expressed on a couple’s wedding day. (It means so much to me that I often get teary-eyed when I hear all the “ooohs” and “ahhhhs” when they see their images for the first time.)
As always, I have such a difficult time choosing only a few of the best wedding photos to post… So for this post I decided to share some of my favorite photojournalistic images along with a few stunning images of Jesse & Nedie. My favorite is the first one of this post -it is so beautiful it deserved to be first and to stand alone. It was a favorite with Jesse & Nedie and they are planning on getting it as a large canvas print. (I think we will be getting one too -I want all our potential couples to see this one in LARGE print!)
For Jesse & Nedie’s family & friends here’s the link to see many more images from their wedding day: http://www.collages.net/ Under “View an Event” (on the left of the page) you will need to enter this user name: Garza Wedding & then you will need to enter the password given at their reception. Enjoy them!
This next image is of their parents placing the lasso around them. I love all the jewel-toned colors, the way everyone is arranged and the feeling of this image.

Jesse & Nedie are an extremely fun and animated couple. This shot taken just seconds after their first kiss as Mr. & Mrs. is so great. Everyone laughed with joy when they saw this one today.

Just after Jesse & Nedie were announced at their reception and made their grand entrance, Jesse ran down the line of groomsmen and smacked hands sports-star like. I love how this one came out.

I love when we get lively wedding toasts -they make for such great photos!!!

This last image is of Nedie dancing with her father. The sweet look on her face says so much. She has joined her life with Jesse now, but she will always be her daddy’s girl.

These pictures are gorgeous!!! It was such a pleasure having such talented and awesome photographers. If we had to get marrier all over again, we’d definately go to you two again
Thank you both for such marvalous memories!
Nedie -it was our pleasure!!! Thank you so much for being such a fun couple to work with and for all your praise!
When you renew your vows on a tropical island we’ll be ready.
I really like the genuineness of the expressions in these pictures. These are not poses but just raw emotion. For me this is really important.
Thank you, Lorenzo, it is for us too!
