Jonathan and Brittany were married on October 17, 2009 at the First Assembly of God church and had their reception at a ballroom there as well. We had a blast photographing their wedding -especially when it came to all the jumping photos!!! I think Jonathan is part kangaroo -he was something to see!
Friends and family of Brittany that wish to see more from their day can go here (you’ll need the password Jonny & Brittany have given you).
Here are some favorites from their beautiful wedding day. Enjoy!

Jonny & his ring bearer having fun. I cannot look at this image without laughing.

I just love this one of the ring bearer. I was shooting the guys jumping up with Alex and noticed how the little guy didn't really know what to think of all the "adults" around him. So I decided to focus in on him and got this one of him walking away from the "adults" and all their jumping!

The bridesmaids were attaching a special locket that had Brittany's father's photo in it so he could still walk her down the aisle. Notice Brittany crying. There weren't many dry eyes in that room.

Here's a picture of Brittany's bouquet featuring the locket that has her late father's photo.

Brittany's niece was her flowergirl and she was shy around us and didn't want to smile for us so we asked her to kiss her auntie for a photo and though you can't see her sweet smile you can feel her sweetness as she gave Brittany this kiss.

A full length of Brittany doing the classic "look over the shoulder" shot & close up of Brittany's bouquet and dress' details.

I love Brittany's hot pink shoes! I think it's great when brides do fun little things like this.

This was a photo I took of Brittany with her mom and sister seconds before she walked down the aisle. I love the look on her mom's face and the joy and emotions on Brittany's.

I love how Brittany shows her excitement here holding Jonny's hands about to take their vows and unite their lives!

The flower girl was either tired and needed a nap or just bored by the ceremony -either way we got this cute photo of her.

After the ceremony Brittany & Jonny (and the wedding party) came back into the sanctuary for some photos and Brittany sat down on the steps and everyone joined in. We decided it made the perfect set up for a fun photo!

Jumping shots are becoming a "Signature Solorzano Photography" shot. They are so much fun and make not only for awesome photos, but really fun memories. You cannot do a shot like this without creating great memories. We never require wedding parties to do these shots- but so often couples tell us they are their #1 "must have" wedding party photo!

To see what happened next see their sneak peek (part 1) entry.

I always love to see the excitement on a couples face when they make their "grand entrance!"

Details of their pink & orange cupcakes and their cake.

A fun shot of Jonny & Brittany being sent off to start their honeymoon with bubbles and cheers!

I agree with Jonny when he said, "I love this picture!" This really captures his personality. And yes, their car really does say what you think it says!!! They told us during their Preview Reception that they went right to the car wash after they left their reception!

Steve & Laura were married on October 10, 2009 at the Beautiful Bell Tower Club of Bakersfield, CA. As promised on their first “sneak peek” post I would be giving you all the details of their wedding day: Laura had her hair done by Linda Rion at Serenity Salon; Jennifer Escobedo also at Serenity Salon did her makeup; Laura’s stunning dress was from Ladies & Gents Bridal; Steve and Laura’s Cake and Appetizer Spread was done by Cindy Black of Mmm…Cake; Laura’s ring is from Robbins Brothers; Steve’s ring is from Roger’s Jewelers; and their flowers were from the House of Flowers.
Here are some of our FAVORITES from their day, including a collage they picked up today at the studio and one I made of their ceremony. Friends and Family of Steve & Laura can see a complete collection from their day by clicking here (you will need to enter the username: The Wells and then the password they provided you with).

A collage we designed from their day (this was featured on small "thank you" prints for all their guest so have).

A Beautiful Bouquet by House of Flowers -our neighbors across the street from our studio on 19th St in Downtown Bakersfield.

Cheers! Alex shot this awesome shot when they all clinked glasses following a toast to Laura just before we all headed outside to start some fun and pre-ceremony portraits outside.
-

- While Laura chatted with friends just after the toast in the bride’s room at the Bell Tower, we got this fun detail shot featuring the beautiful details of her dress and ring.

Laura & Steve "workin' it!" on their wedding day!

Steve and Laura were having a fun "strut" down an asile linned by their wedding party when Steve grabbed Laura and planted a big kiss on her! Love it!!! Such moments make for such fun and wonderful memories caught in an image forever.

The hands, rings, bouquet shot -I doubt this "must have" shot will ever go out of fashion (there's one like this in my parents' wedding album!)

This is the same image as you see in their "sneak peek" post, but I played with it more and turned it into this. I LOVE this one!!!

Another Stunning photo of Laura.

I saw an opportunity for a unique angle on getting their grand entrance into their reception at the Bell Tower Club. Alex shot from inside the room while I stayed back in the hall for this one. I am glad I did. I love how you can see the look of excitement and expression of celebration on their faces -even though you don't see their faces here.

So many good ones of everyone dancing the night away, but this one of Laura doing "The Robot" was simply THE BEST!!! She laughed when she saw this one at her Preview Reception -she had no idea that we caught it! What fun!!!
